Biography

California-based electronic pop trio Hearts of Palm U.K. make '80s-influenced new wave and indie pop. Formed around 2003 by childhood friends Erica Elektra (vocals, keyboards, and guitars) and Billy Kaye (keyboards and cello), the duo played the 2007 ~CMJ Music Marathon. Subsequently, they added Frankie Rose (percussion and keyboards) and began work on a studio album. Hearts of Palm U.K.'s full-length debut, For Life, was expected to drop in 2008.
